The common questions.

Turnaround, revisions, rates, formats, footage handling and ownership — sorted before you send the brief.

  • Short-form clips: 2–4 days. A YouTube long-form: 4–7 days. A commercial or branded film: 1–3 weeks depending on scope. Rush is available for short-form (24h) and is billed at a 35–50% rush fee. Dates are agreed before we start.

  • Most engagements include two revision rounds (three for commercial work). Notes are collected in one pass per round via Frame.io with timecoded comments, which keeps things fast and unambiguous. Additional rounds are billed hourly at the project’s rate.

  • Most work is priced per project from a clear scope (short-form from $220/clip, long-form from $650, commercials from $2,400). Documentary, color, and open-ended work can be a day rate or hourly ($95–$120/hr). You always get a fixed quote in writing before any work begins.

  • Whatever the platform needs: 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, and custom; H.264/H.265 for web, ProRes for masters, alpha ProRes 4444 for motion assets, burned-in or SRT captions, and HDR or Rec.709 masters. Tell me the spec and I’ll deliver to it.

  • You send footage via Frame.io, a shared drive, or cloud link — whatever’s easiest. I keep an organized project and a backup throughout. On delivery you get your masters plus, on request, the source project files and a full archive. Your footage is never reused or shared.

  • You do. You own the footage you supply and the finished deliverables on final payment. I keep a copy in my portfolio only with your permission, and I’ll work under NDA on request. Licensed music and stock are cleared for your stated usage; broader usage can be quoted.

  • Yes. Channels and brands publishing weekly usually move to a monthly retainer — a set number of long-form and/or short-form deliverables at a reduced per-unit rate, with a reserved slot in the schedule. It’s the calmest way to ship consistently.

  • Seamlessly. Footage moves over Frame.io or cloud, reviews are timecoded and async, and we hop on a call at the milestones that matter. I work across time zones and have delivered for clients in the US, EU, and APAC without ever being in the same room.
