Privacy
Cut Theory collects only what you send through the project form — your name, email, and the details of your project — and uses it solely to respond to your inquiry and run the engagement. It is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing.
This is a template website. The contact form does not currently submit to a backend; no data is stored or transmitted from this demo. In production, an inquiry would be delivered to the studio by email or a form service.
Footage and project files you supply are stored only for the duration of the engagement plus a short archival window, kept in secure cloud storage, and are never reused or published without your permission.
Engagement terms
Every engagement begins with a written scope and a fixed quote (or an agreed day / hourly rate). Work begins on a deposit or on agreed terms; the balance is due on delivery of final masters.
Most engagements include two revision rounds (three for commercial work). Additional rounds, added scope, or new deliverables are quoted separately. Rush work carries a 35–50% rush fee, agreed up front.
Timelines assume footage and assets are delivered on the agreed date. Delays in footage, feedback, or approvals shift the delivery date accordingly.
Footage, ownership & usage
You own the footage you supply and the finished deliverables on final payment. Cut Theory retains the right to display the work in its portfolio and showreel only with your permission, and will work under NDA on request.
Licensed music, stock footage and fonts are cleared for the usage you state at the outset. Broader or paid-media usage may require additional licensing, quoted separately.
Cut Theory is not liable for third-party rights in footage you supply; you confirm you have the right to use and have edited any material you provide.
