A YouTube channel built for retention
Weekly long-form edits for a founder-led channel — retention up, watch time up, a repeatable hook system.

What they needed
A SaaS founder was filming great long-form but losing viewers in the first 30 seconds. They needed an editor who could read the retention graph and rebuild the front half of every video around it.
How I approached it
- 01
Audited six months of retention graphs to find the exact drop-off points, then re-engineered the cold open and re-hook structure.
- 02
Built a reusable motion title + lower-third package so every video felt like the same show.
- 03
Cut to a tighter pace with pattern interrupts (b-roll, graphics, zoom punches) timed to retention dips.
- 04
Delivered chaptered exports plus three thumbnail-candidate frames per video.
